Roles & Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images to support accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care
• Collaborate with radiologists and the interdisciplinary team during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Operate and maintain mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment safely
• Process and transmit images to PACS promptly and accurately
• Ensure patient safety by following protocols, screening, and infection control procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient records, and equipment checks
• Participate in competency exams and specialty checklists to demonstrate and improve skills

Qualifications

• Valid CT license and current CT ARRT certification (CT ARRT required)
• State radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required
• BCLS (AHA) / BLS certification maintained upon hire
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT
• One year of acute clinical radiology experience preferred
• Proficient computer skills and experience with PACS
• Familiarity with DCI/BVP and other site-specific certifications preferred

Education

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging techniques and protocols
• PACS operation and image transmission
• Fluoroscopy and radiographic equipment operation
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
• Patient safety, screening, and positioning best practices
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment care
• Effective communication with patients and multidisciplinary teams
