Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment in accordance with manufacturer and facility guidelines
• Follow established protocols and collaborate with radiologists to ensure diagnostic image quality
• Verify patient identity, obtain pertinent history, and ensure proper contrast administration when required
• Maintain accurate imaging records and ensure timely documentation in patient charts
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and facility policies including required vaccinations and testing
• Support a positive patient experience by communicating clearly and compassionately with patients and families

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT credential (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• State license/certification verification as applicable (required)
• Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and skills validation
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and provide weekend coverage (every third weekend)
• Pass required health screenings: fit test, 10-panel drug screen, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, physical/health statement

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and anatomy
• Radiation safety and dose optimization practices
• Patient positioning and contrast administration techniques
• Familiarity with PACS and imaging documentation workflows
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced clinical settings
• Ability to prioritize workload and maintain accuracy under pressure
