Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report significant changes to the nursing team
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices to promote independence
Maintain clean, safe, and respectful resident environments while following facility protocols
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Document care delivered in a timely and accurate manner to support continuity and quality

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required). Pennsylvania certification strongly preferred given the facility location
Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting is a plus
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a resident-centered mindset
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks required for direct patient care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Infection prevention and safe hygiene practices
Effective, compassionate communication with residents and families
Teamwork and ability to follow care plans and nursing direction
