Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, assisting with daily living activities
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning while following proper body mechanics
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record and communicate effectively with the care team
Follow infection control practices and facility protocols to keep patients and staff safe
Support a positive patient experience by treating residents with dignity, respect, and empathy

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Valid state authorization to work in Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and patient mobility
Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads with certification are welcome to apply

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, assisting with ADLs, observing patient condition
Safe patient handling and proper body mechanics
Accurate documentation and attention to detail
Ability to follow care plans and verbal/written instructions
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus
