Location: North Cape May, NJ

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, days vary, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Document care accurately and keep patient records up to date
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and staff to support excellent care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Active CPR/BLS certification preferred
Previous experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting is a plus
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Comfortable assisting with mobility and transfers
Basic charting and documentation skills
Teamwork and clear communication with multidisciplinary staff
