Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Start Date: 07-01-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening shift, includes 30-minute meal break)

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to residents in daily activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Help with mobility and transferring residents safely
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Support residents' emotional wellbeing and dignity

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing a plus
Ability to work flexible per diem shifts
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
Skill in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
Ability to lift and transfer patients using proper techniques
Empathy and patience when interacting with residents
