Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care with compassion and respect—assist with daily living activities
Monitor patients and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to support comfort and mobility
Perform routine tasks like bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting while preserving dignity
Accurately document care and vital signs to keep the care team informed
Collaborate with nurses and the care team to ensure each patient’s needs are met
Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (or equivalent) — ready to work in patient care
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with hands-on patient care and physical lifting/moving assistance
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to pass applicable background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and infection control practices
Skill in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Good documentation habits and attention to detail
Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication with patients and families
