Location: Gettysburg, PA

Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; specific days not specified)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately and promptly
Assist nursing team with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility needs
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing staff
Follow infection control practices and facility safety protocols at all times
Promote resident dignity, comfort, and independence through respectful care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
Comfortable working the night shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Taking and documenting vital signs
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Basic infection prevention and control practices
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
Accurate charting and attention to detail
