Shift Type: Days not specified, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
Take and record vital signs, track changes and report concerns to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Help keep resident rooms and common areas tidy and safe
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families and the care team
Document care activities accurately and promptly to ensure continuity

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills
Comfort with basic patient care tasks and working in a team environment
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing helpful but not required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational patient care and ADL support
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Infection prevention and safe hygiene practices
Accurate charting and basic documentation
Teamwork, time management and clear communication
Respectful, person-centered care and empathy
