Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Variable days, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (overnight, per diem)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with patient transfers, mobility, and safe ambulation
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record
Support infection control practices and ensure a clean, safe environment
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and staff

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts and a flexible per diem schedule
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED; Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient transfers, ADLs, and basic patient care
Competent in taking and recording vital signs and observations
Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
Strong teamwork, time management, and prioritization skills
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
