Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility needs
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and other observations accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate resident status and concerns to the nursing team and document care
• Support emotional needs and encourage resident independence and dignity

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - state requirements apply
• Basic CPR/BLS certification preferred or required depending on facility policy
• Competency in providing ADL assistance and basic patient care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL support
• Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control and hygiene best practices
• Clear, professional communication and teamwork
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
