Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem (as needed), Overnight, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Monitor and accurately document vital signs, intake/output, and behavioral changes
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and families to coordinate care
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Respond promptly to resident needs and participate in emergency procedures as directed

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Able to work overnight shifts and flexible per diem schedules
Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward residents

Education

High school diploma or GED
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection control
Comfort with resident mobility assistance and safe transfer techniques
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
Good time management, observation, and reporting skills
