Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care: assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output and changes in patient condition
• Support activities of daily living while promoting patient dignity and comfort
• Assist nursing staff with admissions, discharges and safe patient transfers
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic nursing care and activities of daily living
• Safe patient transfer and turning techniques
• Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
• Clear, accurate documentation and communication skills
• Familiarity with infection control and resident safety practices
