Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident status accurately
• Support mobility, transfers and safe ambulation following care plans
• Communicate changes in resident condition promptly to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Participate in team huddles and contribute to resident-centered care planning

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (state-issued) required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and flexible per-diem scheduling
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
• Ability to complete required facility onboarding and background checks

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

• Basic patient care and personal hygiene assistance
• Vital signs measurement and documentation
• Safe transfer and positioning techniques
• Infection prevention and universal precautions
• Clear patient and team communication skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
