Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Measure, record, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
• Safely assist with patient transfers and mobility to prevent falls
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Accurately document care and communicate effectively with nursing staff
• Support emotional needs of patients and their families with empathy
• Participate in team collaboration to ensure continuity of high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — New Mexico or eligible for state reciprocity
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Able to work overnight shifts and adapt to variable per diem schedules
• Reliable, professional, and able to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Basic understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Comfortable with patient transfers and using mobility aids
• Good charting practices and clear communication with clinical teams
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
