Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, PCI, EP studies and ablation procedures
• Prepare and maintain Cath/EP suites and sterile field, ensuring equipment and supplies are procedure-ready
• Operate and document procedures in MacLab and other Cath/EP systems with accuracy and timeliness
• Monitor patient status continuously and respond to changes with calm, evidence-based actions
• Participate in device implant procedures and Watchman/LAAO cases with attention to safety and protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and handoffs
• Maintain rigorous infection control and equipment maintenance practices
• Contribute to quality improvement, documentation accuracy, and a patient-centered environment

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required
• ARRT or RCIS certification with RTR License required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath/EP lab settings
• Proven proficiency with Cath/EP procedures including diagnostic cath, PCI, Watchman/LAAO and device implants
• Comfortable functioning independently in a fast-paced procedural environment and participating in on-call rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of Cath/EP lab workflows and sterile technique
• Experience with MacLab documentation systems
• Familiarity with EP studies, ablation, Watchman/LAAO and device implantation procedures
• Excellent patient monitoring and hemodynamic assessment skills
• Ability to operate imaging and monitoring equipment used in Cath/EP labs
• Clear communication skills for teamwork and patient advocacy
