Location: North Cape May, NJ

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility support
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Support a positive, respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Valid authorization to practice in New Jersey (as applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
Clear background check and ability to pass facility onboarding checks
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic nursing tasks
Knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety practices
Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and team members
Basic familiarity with resident lifting/transfer techniques and assistive devices
