Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote dignity and comfort
• Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
• Document resident status and care provided in a clear, timely manner
• Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff and supervisors
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention through proper transfer techniques
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep everyone safe
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• State registry in good standing for CNA practice
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable performing ADLs and assisting with mobility
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass background check and health screenings as required
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with a caring attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and personal support
• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, feeding assistance, repositioning
• Knowledge of infection prevention and resident safety protocols
• Familiarity with documentation best practices and basic EMR use
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with the care team
• Compassionate bedside manner and patience with older adults
