Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem (as-needed), 6:30 PM - 6:30 PM, Night shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients under the direction of nursing staff
Assist with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility support
Take and record vital signs, report changes in condition promptly
Support safe patient transfers and positioning to prevent injury
Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable patient environments
Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to ensure continuity of care
Document care activities accurately and timely

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass facility background check and required health screenings
Comfortable with night shift duties and physically able to assist patients
Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Observational skills to notice and report patient changes
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Basic charting and documentation practices
Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and the multidisciplinary team
