Location: North Cape May, NJ

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility in a respectful manner
Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team promptly
Document care accurately and maintain clear, timely records
Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Jersey (required)
Previous experience working as a CNA preferred but new grads with strong skills are welcome
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Basic clinical observation skills and ability to report changes
Familiarity with documentation best practices and care plans
Good interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
Ability to follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control
