Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem / Varies, 6:30 PM - 6:30 PM Night (AP shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Help with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility while preserving dignity
Monitor and accurately record vital signs and report changes to the care team
Assist with safe transfers and turn/reposition residents to prevent skin issues
Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and residents to ensure consistent care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Ability and willingness to work per diem evening/night shifts
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a care team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and assistance with ADLs
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Infection prevention and standard precautions
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and colleagues
