Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem night shift, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM (12-hour night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition
Support safe mobility and fall prevention through attentive care
Document care interactions clearly and promptly in the clinical record
Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver consistent, person-centered care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain if not current)
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings and immunizations
Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to provide compassionate care
Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or similar settings preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
Comfortable taking and charting vital signs and observing changes in condition
Knowledge of safety, infection control, and patient handling techniques
Basic documentation and charting skills; ability to follow care plans
Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
