Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care for patients — help with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and facility protocols
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses and care team members
Build trusting relationships with patients and families, offering comfort and dignity

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Comfortable with night shift work and per-diem scheduling
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Reliable transportation to get to shifts across Albuquerque

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Patient personal care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and safe patient handling
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical setting
Teamwork and following care plans under nurse direction
