Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
- Communicate clearly with nurses, therapists, and family members to support care plans
- Support infection control practices and follow facility policies
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Eligible to work in New Jersey and meet facility registry requirements
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care and basic nursing assistant skills
- Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
- Infection control and safety practices
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Ability to follow care plans and document appropriately
