Location: North Cape May, NJ

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
Document care provided clearly and timely in resident charts
Support a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in good standing (required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Comfortable assisting with mobility and basic patient care tasks
Positive, patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills
Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and ADLs
Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Effective written and verbal communication for resident documentation
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary care team
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
