Location: North Cape May, NJ

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Varied days, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Night

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility while promoting independence
Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans established by the team
Help create a comfortable, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Support mealtime routines and ensure residents' nutritional needs are met

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new graduates with strong bedside manner are welcome
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a care team
Reliable attendance and the ability to work evening shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care skills such as bathing, grooming, transfers, and feeding
Understanding of infection control and resident safety practices
Comfortable with charting and following care plans
Ability to observe, document, and communicate changes in condition
Compassion, patience, and good interpersonal skills with residents and families
