Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, promoting dignity and comfort
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with teammates
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Class: CNA) — required
- Comfortable working 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shifts
- Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing care and familiarity with resident ADLs
- Accurate documentation and charting practices
- Ability to recognize and report changes in patient condition
- Teamwork, time management, and a patient-centered approach
