Shift Type: Per diem / As-needed, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Day shift (12.5-hour)

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and support to patients with dignity
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and document patient status, vitals, and clinical changes in the record
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to implement care plans
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility needs
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up
- Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure — North Carolina license preferred or eligible
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Comfortable with medication administration, basic wound care, and documentation
- Reliable, professional, and able to pass required background and drug screening
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail
- Medication administration and basic nursing procedure knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
- Good communication skills with patients, families, and team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Team player attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
