Shift Type: Per diem (scheduling varies), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes promptly
- Support safe mobility, transfers, and proper body mechanics
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
- Practice infection prevention and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Respect patient dignity and offer emotional support to residents and families
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working overnight shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- Ability to perform physical aspects of care, including lifting and transfers
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Accurate documentation and basic charting skills
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus
