Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care and compassionate support to patients, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility policy
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and clinical status accurately and timely
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the care team to follow care plans and escalate changes
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient safety at every turn
• Maintain clear, professional documentation in the medical record to support continuity of care
• Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve patient experience and outcomes

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license (required)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent clinical training
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or the willingness to obtain promptly
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment with strong teamwork skills
• Previous LPN experience preferred but motivated new grads with solid clinical training are encouraged to apply

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program
• Active LPN license in good standing

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and vital sign monitoring skills
• Medication administration and safe charting practices
• Infection control, wound care basics, and standard precautions
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management, organization, and the ability to prioritize patient needs
