Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Day shift (scheduled as needed)

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care within the LPN scope
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
- Monitor patient status, record vital signs, and promptly report changes to the care team
- Assist with activities of daily living and support safe, dignified patient care
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and uphold infection control standards
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license; eligible to practice in North Carolina
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous LPN experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current LPN licensure (state-specific)
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and accurate vital signs monitoring
- Medication administration and precise charting
- Time management and prioritization during extended shifts
- Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation best practices
