Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, mobility, and safe positioning
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team promptly
Document care accurately and clearly in resident records
Support mealtime assistance and ensure hydration and nutrition needs are met
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate with residents and families with dignity and respect

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico certification preferred or eligible)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Basic vital signs and observation of condition changes
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Clear, timely documentation and following care plans
Compassionate communication with residents and family members
Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
