Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care following facility policies
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient status and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist with activities of daily living while promoting patient dignity
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to support positive outcomes
- Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina required
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Proof of required immunizations and TB screening as per facility policy
- Comfortable working independently on per diem shifts and as part of a team
- Strong communication and patient-care skills; prior LPN experience is a plus
Education
- Completed LPN diploma, vocational nursing program, or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Clear, timely charting and documentation practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical setting
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
