Shift Type: Per diem evenings, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Shift 2, evening)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support safe mobility and transfers while promoting independence
- Provide attentive feeding support and mealtime assistance as needed
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
- Create a calm, respectful, and compassionate environment for residents
- Assist with basic toileting and incontinence care with dignity and privacy
- Participate in team communication and handoffs to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- GNA certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Prior experience in long term care or geriatric support is a plus
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evening shifts on a per diem basis
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification or state-approved equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic elderly care practices and infection control
- Comfortable assisting with transfers, walking programs, and mobility aids
- Familiarity with documentation best practices and basic charting
- Good observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage residents and family members
