Location: High Point, NC

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem (schedule varies), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting needs
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support safe patient mobility and fall prevention measures
Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to ensure coordinated care
Document care and patient observations thoroughly and professionally
Advocate for patient dignity and comfort in every interaction

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active or eligible to obtain North Carolina CNA licensure
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team
Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented
Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads who meet certification requirements are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of direct patient care and activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and standard precautions
Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Basic charting and electronic documentation familiarity
Effective teamwork and clear communication with clinical staff
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
