Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Support residents with mobility, toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Document care accurately and maintain clear, timely notes
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to promote dignity and comfort for each resident

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
Valid state-required credentials for practice in Pennsylvania, as applicable
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or similar settings is a plus
Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and ADLs
Ability to follow care plans and communicate observations clearly
Basic infection control practices and safe handling techniques
Time management and the ability to work well in a team
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
