Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Support nurses by monitoring patients and reporting changes in condition
- Help with safe transfers, bathing, dressing, and toileting while preserving dignity
- Follow care plans and document observations accurately and promptly
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in good standing
- Prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred but new grads welcome
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
- Basic charting and documentation skills
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of ADLs (activities of daily living) and basic nursing care
- Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Ability to observe and report clinical changes clearly
- Time-management and teamwork skills in a fast-paced care setting
- Basic computer/charting skills for documentation
