Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with mobility, hygiene, feeding, and toileting while promoting dignity
Accurately document care, observations, and resident interactions
Follow infection control practices and facility policies to maintain a safe environment
Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active or eligible to obtain CNA certification in Pennsylvania
Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing settings (experience preferred)
Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable and compassionate
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and assistance with ADLs
Safe transfer and positioning techniques
Vital signs monitoring and documentation
Infection control and standard precautions
Clear, respectful communication with residents and team members
Time management and attention to detail in charting
