Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other clinical observations
• Assist nursing team with safe transfers, mobility and positioning
• Maintain accurate resident documentation and communicate changes to the care team
• Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a clean, safe environment
• Support resident dignity and independence through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Reliable transportation to Gettysburg Center and professional presentation

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in personal care, ambulation and safe patient handling
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
• Able to follow care plans and report changes to nursing staff
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner
