Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging with precision to produce high-quality clinical images
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Apply radiation safety principles and follow facility protocols to protect patients and staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and the care team to support timely diagnoses
• Participate in competency testing and Trinity skill checklists to maintain high standards
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues to keep imaging services running smoothly
• Assist with urgent imaging needs and respond calmly during emergent situations

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• License/Certificate verification required as per facility policy
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Compliance with required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Varicella, physical/health statement)
• Successful completion of Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and Trinity color vision testing
• Trinity respirator evaluation and fit test as required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and positioning
• Familiarity with digital imaging systems and image quality assessment
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Excellent patient communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to follow protocols, checklists, and competency testing requirements
• Teamwork mindset and effective collaboration with clinical staff
