Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub for a wide range of cath lab procedures including PCI, stent placement, thrombectomy, rotablator, and transcatheter valve work
• Monitor patients accurately using telemetry and invasive monitors, maintaining vigilance during complex cases
• Assist with PA line insertion and management, and support left and right heart catheterizations
• Set up and maintain a sterile field; perform circulator duties when needed to ensure smooth room flow
• Support structural heart procedures such as TAVR, Mitral Clip, and Watchman when experienced and credentialed
• Respond to call assignments and provide reliable coverage for weekday and weekend call requirements
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure procedural readiness, patient safety, and excellent patient experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab / cardiovascular technologist experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• RCIS or ARRT certification required (must have at least one)
• Proficiency scrubbing TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, peripheral interventions, Impella, IABP, and CTO procedures preferred
• Experience with balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, and left/right heart catheterizations
• Comfortable with telemetry monitoring, PA line insertion, and rhythm interpretation
• First-time travelers are welcome; locals accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in cardiac cath lab procedures and sterile technique
• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation experience
• Familiarity with EPIC and MAC Lab systems
• Ability to function as scrub and monitor tech; circulator skills are a plus
• Experience with conscious sedation and IV starts preferred
• Capable of supporting complex PCI, rotablator atherectomy, and structural heart interventions
