Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms to support early detection
• Operate digital and 3D mammography systems, including Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX
• Assist with and perform stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, and fine needle aspirations
• Accurately document procedures and patient information using Epic charting
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and clear communication during breast imaging and procedures
• Maintain imaging quality and safety standards while troubleshooting equipment and workflow issues
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support biopsy procedures and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience
• Experience with screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsy, needle localizations, and fine needle aspiration
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment
• ARRT M, ARRT R, and BLS certifications are preferred
• Outpatient procedures experience a plus
• Travel experience not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Screening and diagnostic mammography techniques
• 3D/DBT mammography (Hologic 3D)
• Stereotactic biopsy and biopsy assistance
• Needle localization and fine needle aspiration procedures
• Epic electronic charting proficiency
• Strong patient communication and positioning skills
• Attention to image quality, safety, and protocol adherence
• Comfort working in an outpatient procedural setting
