Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift). Night techs work independently; varied weekend & holiday coverage; call/standby rotation. Note: Mixed shifts with varied start times and team scheduling may also be required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging studies using Siemens 64-slice CT equipment to support ER, inpatient and outpatient care
• Provide general radiography/X-ray services (including portable X-ray) and cover X‑ray responsibilities as needed
• Operate and assist with department-specific equipment such as Siemens C‑arm and GE portable X‑ray
• Use MEDITECH for charting and imaging workflow to ensure accurate, timely documentation
• Respond confidently to trauma and ER imaging requests, prioritizing patient safety and speed
• Support team scheduling and be available for weekend, holiday and call/standby assignments
• Cross-train across modalities and collaborate with techs and supervisors to maintain smooth department operations
• Maintain strict infection control and fit-test compliance; follow facility fit-testing policies

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Active North Dakota state radiologic technologist license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of CT or radiology tech experience
• Comfortable covering general X-ray, portable X-ray and trauma imaging
• Able to work nights independently and participate in call/standby rotations
• Willingness to comply with fit-testing and facial-hair policies as outlined by facility

Education

• ARRT certification — completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program (or equivalent) expected

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong experience with Computed Tomography (CT) procedures and protocols
• Hands-on familiarity with Siemens 64-slice CT scanners and Siemens C-arm equipment
• Competence with MEDITECH charting and PACS workflows
• Skilled in general radiography/X-ray, including portable imaging
• Excellent communication, teamwork, approachability and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently on night shifts and make timely decisions in acute settings
• Adaptability to mixed schedules, cross-training and varied clinical demands
