Shift Type: Rotating nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Night); includes 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks and 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for large patient volumes using GE Carescape
- Analyze ECG/arrhythmia data and accurately document findings
- Build end-of-shift reports and manage patient add/discharge in the monitoring system
- Communicate clearly with floor staff via desktop phone and iPhone application
- Maintain a running call log and escalate concerns per unit guidelines
- Prioritize alarms, multitask across high-volume monitoring, and keep patient safety front and center
- Remain calm and professional during stressful situations while delivering consistent care
- Adhere to unit attendance and tardiness policies to support team reliability
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in remote monitoring or telemetry (required)
- Telemetry competent and able to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
- Proficient typing and basic computer skills; comfortable using an iPhone app for clinical communication
- Strong English reading and writing skills and a reliable attendance record
- Comfort working in a high-volume central monitoring unit and managing many patients per shift
- Required certifications: None (per job posting)
- Preferred: CNA or cardiac nursing background, ECG-Board Certification, and prior GE monitoring experience
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- ECG/arrhythmia recognition and basic rhythm testing
- Experience with GE Carescape monitoring system
- Desktop phone and iPhone app clinical communication
- Proficient typing and basic computer literacy
- High-volume monitoring and multitasking abilities
- Maintaining composure and professionalism under stress
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
