Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and document patient condition and report changes promptly to the nurse in charge
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team to enhance patient experience

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (Class: LNA) — valid in VT or NH preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working the overnight 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift
• Professional attitude, reliable attendance, and strong teamwork skills
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong basic clinical skills and patient care fundamentals
• Good documentation and observational skills to track patient status
• Ability to follow care plans and work within scope of practice
• Effective verbal communication and compassionate patient interaction
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
