Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in the assigned area
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
- Assess and monitor patient condition, documenting changes clearly and promptly
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
- Support a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the chart
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain one
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable with medication administration, basic nursing procedures, and documentation
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently in a per diem role
- Previous LPN experience in acute or long-term care preferred
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail
- Medication administration and dosage calculation knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
