Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) with dignity and respect
- Perform vital signs monitoring and report any changes promptly
- Support nursing staff with safe transfers, mobility assistance, and comfort measures
- Document patient care accurately and communicate observations to the care team
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — NH or VT (position covers VT/NH)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Comfort with physical aspects of care (lifting/transfers) and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work per diem shifts, including potential weekends
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
- Taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Basic documentation and charting practices
- Infection control and safety procedures
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
- Time management and the ability to prioritize care tasks
