Shift Type: Rotating nights — 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; works every 3rd weekend; call approximately once every 6 weeks (Night shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine and musculoskeletal studies
- Execute brain perfusion and vascular CTA protocols accurately and efficiently to support stroke and trauma care
- Operate Siemens CT equipment and PACS to acquire and manage images with excellent image quality
- Prepare and administer contrast media safely and start peripheral IVs when needed
- Support patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced Level I trauma and emergency room environment
- Communicate clearly with emergency physicians, radiologists, and interdisciplinary teams under pressure
- Maintain accurate records, follow regulatory guidelines, and ensure charting in Epic
- Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year CT technologist experience (hard stop: Siemens and Epic experience 1 year)
- ARRT certification required; Advanced ARRT (CT) preferred
- BLS certification required
- Comfortable working rotating night shifts, weekends, and participating in call rotation
- Experience in emergency/trauma and stroke care settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to perform under pressure
- Proven ability to perform contrast administration and start peripheral IVs
Knowledge & Skills
- CT imaging techniques across abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine and musculoskeletal
- Brain perfusion and stroke imaging expertise
- Vascular CTA protocols and post-processing familiarity
- Image quality assurance and radiation safety practices
- Experience with Siemens CT platforms and PACS workflows
- Charting and documentation in Epic
- Patient safety, comfort, and emergency/trauma workflow experience
- On-call procedures and third-shift operations
