Location: Clovis, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies), Days vary, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Night)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Provide compassionate, person-centered care that preserves dignity and comfort
Support mealtime assistance and ensure fluid and nutrition needs are met
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Follow infection control protocols and facility safety procedures at all times

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
Comfortable working overnight hours and adaptable to per-diem scheduling
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Previous long-term care or rehab experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Resident care and activities of daily living assistance
Basic vital signs and observation skills
Infection prevention and safe patient handling techniques
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic health records or paper charting
Teamwork and time management in a fast-paced care setting
