Shift Type: Per diem / As-needed, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift (schedule varies)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing/rehab setting
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
- Perform timely and accurate patient assessments and document findings in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility as needed
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition promptly to the care team
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts LPN or RN license in good standing (LPN preferred for this posting)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required or ability to obtain promptly
- Relevant experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently on per-diem assignments
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program (or RN program if applying as RN)
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary nursing education required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Resident assessment and care planning
- Basic wound care and restorative nursing support
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Infection prevention and control principles
- Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
- Effective teamwork and clear communication with patients and staff
